✨️ Candle Care Instructions

To get the best, safest, and longest burn from your wood wick candle, follow these tips:

✨️Trim Your Wick Before Every Burn

Wooden wicks should be trimmed to about ⅛”–¼”. Too long, and the flame may be too high; too short, and it may not stay lit. Just pinch off the charred wood before relighting.

✨️First Burn Is Most Important

Let your candle melt all the way to the edges of the jar the first time you light it (this may take 2–3 hours). This prevents tunneling and sets the “memory” for an even burn.

✨️Burn in Intervals

Wood wicks perform best when burned in 2–4 hour sessions. Longer burns can overheat the vessel; shorter burns can drown the wick

✨️Create a Safe Space

Always place your candle on a heat-safe surface, away from drafts, pets, children, and flammable objects. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

✨️Extinguish with Care

Gently blow out the flame or use a snuffer. Avoid water—this can damage the wick.

Pro tip: Wood wicks give off a cozy crackle. If your candle ever struggles to stay lit, trim the wick slightly shorter and make sure no debris is in the wax pool.

Every candle is crafted to bring warmth and connection into your home—thank you for taking care of it so it can take care of you. 💛
